What does this implement/fix?

Routine sync of dev into main so CloudCannon-staged content publishes via the ci and pages-build-deployment workflows.

This sync includes #833 (ESPHome Starter Kit: Core Components wiki and First Steps update).

Types of changes

  • Typo / wording fix
  • Content update (correcting outdated info, adding missing steps, clarifications)
  • New page or new product section
  • Page move / rename (redirect added in mkdocs.yml)
  • Image / screenshot update
  • Nav / structure change
  • Site config or theme change
  • CI / workflows / dependencies — Does not publish

(dev → main publish sync. Doesn't fit any single category since the substantive change boxes were already checked on #833 against dev.)

Checklist:

  • This PR targets the dev branch (not main)
  • Changes previewed locally with mkdocs serve
  • If pages were moved or renamed, redirects were added to mkdocs.yml
  • If new pages were added, nav was updated in mkdocs.yml

(dev → main sync PR must target main by design; the "must target dev" checkbox does not apply here.)

…teps (#833)

The ESPHome Starter Kit project manifest now ships the Web Server and
Accessory Power Rail components enabled by default. The First Steps tutorial
no longer needs to walk users through adding them, so the section is reduced
to the one component users still add themselves (Onboard RGB LED) and points
at a new Core Components page under Learn the Basics for deeper background.
